If you were in Pretoria this Saturday passed and you didn’t go to Tings ‘n Times you missed an epic show. Gazelle really put on an awesome live show that draw in the crowd and gets them dancing. The video for Just Now was shot on location in Switzerland at Art Basel during their recent European tour. With Gazelle better known for their afro-disco-electro-pop aka LIMPOP and their on stage style and glam, it’s nice to see they’re not above a bit of social commentary. In case you’re wondering, the bank notes being thrown around were actually flyers for his Basel show…

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009I got an email from these guys and after listening to the tracks, I had to share it with you. Nobody Beats The Drum are a Dutch electro band that create a “fusion of breaks, electro, hip hop and every other form of music that whips a crowd up into a sweaty, writhing heap of body parts!” They also dress up as robots, so they have my stamp of approval!
Grab the track and a remix below, go and check out their website as well as their myspace. I have also added the music video to the track which will make you wanna hop on a plane to go and see them live!

Lapse kills the Toxic Avenger!
Monday, October 5th, 2009
After his recent visit to South Africa, The Toxic Avenger gave the separates to his new single ‘Toxic is Dead’ to Cape Town’s [Lapse, who promptly churned out a remix in true Lapse style, very sexy and "oh-so danceable". The remix is extended to just under seven minutes and builds up slowly until finally breaking, which I'm sure will get a few kids moving. The original is already very smooth, but Lapse manages to iron out the finest creases in order to make even more so! Grab it below in full 320kbps glory and listen to the original via Soundcloud.

He has been part of some of South Africa’s greatest acts including Max Normal, The Constructus Corporation, The Real Estate Agents and Playdoe to name but a few. Check out his profile in our Artist section and grab a few of his tracks in the Downloads section.
Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip - Thou Shalt Always Kill (Sibot Remix)
This track is an awesome glitchy track with filthy, kickin’ bass line that just begs you to freak out on the dancefloor. Not sure if this is released as a DJ Fuck remix or Sibot, either way it’s a bangin’ tune worth checkin’ out!
MC Spoek, the other half of Playdoe does the vocals on this twichy, fidget track. It’s bound to get a few asses shakin’. Get it while it’s hot!
