Gazelle’s Die Verlore Seun gets the Will Mono Treatment
Jozi based Will Mono got his hands on ‘Die Verlore Seun’ from the original Limpop group Gazelle and gave it an electro treatment. The track features a stabby, filtered & distorted synth that drives the track. Although the vocals haven’t been played with too much, the ooh’s and aah’s of the original are more prominent and give the track that ‘sexy electro’ feel that the kids dig so much! Grab it below.

It’s about time that Afrikaans start playing a bigger role. People are inclined to sculpt their lives around what they hear in the music they listen to. I always knew Afrikaans is just under the surface of many people in the world. It’s time to live our beings and do Afrikaans music that to balance out the stereotype.
Yeah Will Mono is jozi based. Expect some cool stuff from him in the near future.
This is SERIOUSLY one of the best remixes I’ve heard this year! This guy needs some more recognition! : ) Minimalistic, yet melodic, club-worthy, ,yet catchy. Damn : )
